Council approves minutes and financial report; adds Mark Hobbs to emergency contact list

The Penn Yan/Yates County Airport Council approved the previous meeting minutes (motion by Bill Middlebrook; second by Rich Leppert) and accepted the financial report (motion by Bill Middlebrook; second by Rich Leppert). The minutes do not include roll-call vote tallies for these actions.
Under old business the council noted the outstanding FAA airport audit from August 2024; C&S has provided an annotated Exhibit A to the county to address records that may be archived and difficult to retrieve. Members also noted that many airport utilities are unmarked and identified mapping utilities as a safety and planning priority. Under new business Mark Hobbs was added to the airport emergency contact list and the updated list was sent to the Sheriff.
Adjournment was moved by Bill Middlebrook and seconded by Doug Marchionda; the minutes record the motion but do not include a time for adjournment beyond the previously noted call to order at 7:30 a.m. The minutes do not record direct quotes from these procedural items.
