JHTTB approves hiring timeline, aims to have executive director in place by April

The JHTTB approved an Executive Director hiring timeline at its Feb. 3 special meeting and outlined where and how the board will accept applications.
Mr. Pope moved to adopt the timeline and Ms. Holbrook seconded. Ms. Calder said the board plans to hire the executive director ahead of posting other positions and described the timeline as aggressive, saying the board is "hoping to put the ED in place by April." The motion passed 6-0.
Ms. Calder said Teton County HR will accept applications online and will provide submissions to the board. She said the application deadline is Feb. 27, after which the board will decide whether to extend the deadline or proceed based on the candidate pool. Ms. Calder said she will work with the county to create a scoring matrix to evaluate applicants.
