Commissioner Vern Eames moved that Maintenance Manager Karl Souza have an excavating company ride along with him to review the county roads for which Gooding County is responsible and to obtain estimates for any needed repairs. Commissioner Ronald Buhler seconded the motion and the board carried it.
In related correspondence discussion, the board considered dispersing leftover Road and Bridge budget funds to help clean up roads countywide. Commissioner Bolduc also shared the SIRCOMM budget report for 2025–2026. No specific appropriation or dollar amounts for clean-up were approved at this meeting.
