On June 10, the Coosa County Commission reviewed and approved the Revenue Commissioner's DFC‑22 report covering insolvents, errors in assessment, taxes in litigation and unsold tax liens for 2024 and prior years as required by Code of Ala. 1975, Section 40‑5‑23 et seq.
The minutes record 'Errors in Assessments' amounts of State General $1,073.00; Soldier $429.20; and School $1,287.60. Commissioner John Forbus moved to approve the report and Vice‑Chair Brandon Davis seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The action allows the tax collector to receive credit on final settlement with the Comptroller per state code sections cited on the form.
