County Attorney Mike Enrooth recommended adding the qualifier "permanently reallocating firefighting equipment" to reflect the Commission's intent. Commissioners also approved Section 7.03(I), which requires an affirmative vote of two-thirds of the whole Council of Commissioners to change fire district boundaries or permanently reallocate equipment and requires at least one public hearing as specified by Montana law. The motion carried unanimously.
