The Neillsville Historic Preservation Commission convened at 6:00 pm on July 15, 2026. Chair Natalie Erpenbach called the meeting to order; roll call confirmed Ashley Bryan, Dan Clough, Natalie Erpenbach, Jeff Kluckhohn and Dawn Voss present, with Nicole Keller and Barb Miller absent.
Routine procedural business included approval of the agenda (motion by Kluckhohn, second by Clough) and approval of the June 17, 2026 minutes as corrected to reflect Kluckhohn's prior abstention on a $131 invoice. Under applications, there were no COA or COD submissions to consider. The commission approved payment of $500 to James and Dawn Voss for Historic Grant Application #2025-1 after Dawn Voss presented a receipt; the payment motion carried with Voss abstaining. Members discussed the Murals Work Group and the commission's list of historic property markers, and Chair Erpenbach reported progress on two STQRY walking tours, noting the Historic Walking Tour is roughly 60 stops and more than half complete. A motion to adjourn at 6:43 pm passed; the next meeting is scheduled for August 19, 2026.
