County staff formally introduced a new county brand and logo—tagline: "Tradition Meets Tomorrow"—developed through a year-long process that included an internal steering team, department input and public surveys. Staff credited consultant Black Dog LLC and named several staff and community stakeholders who participated in design and community engagement.
Sherry Harding said phase 1 is funded through existing Gateway CIP funds and other departmental budgets; it will include signage along major corridors, updated email signatures and website changes, vehicle decals, badges and a July 25 public launch at the summer reading finale. Harding told the board the goal is to provide a unified identity to help attract tourism, business investment and employees while reflecting community input: "This is what they said Campbell County represents to them." Board members asked about specific sign locations and phase-two priorities; staff said a three-year rollout plan exists and phase 2 will be evaluated against future budgets.
