Hall County Board of Tax Assessors holds executive session, approves routine business

The Hall County Board of Tax Assessors convened Feb. 18, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. with Chairman Jennifer Pettitt and two other members present. The board approved the minutes of its Feb. 4 meeting and adopted an amended agenda before briefly entering executive session to discuss pending litigation; the session began at 5:02 p.m. and the board reconvened at 5:15 p.m.
Most routine items were approved unanimously by the three members in attendance (Eric Jackson moved and AJ Zurzolo seconded on recorded motions). The board agreed to cancel its March 4 meeting because several staff members will be out of town and noted that Interim Chief Appraiser John Smith will participate in a Ryan Panel on Feb. 26 with peer tax-assessor offices. The meeting adjourned at 5:52 p.m.
