Commissioners pressed for public benefit and compensation details and flagged concerns about an alleyway behind the Petroleum Building, access for utilities and public safety if fencing were extended. One commissioner asked for a tangible compensation proposal and a contract for review; Irick offered that Duos Edge could commit to a long‑term lease at about $1,500 per month for the parcel and volunteered to bring sample contracts and to host commissioners to tour a nearby facility. The court took no formal action and directed staff to solicit written lease terms and route contract documents through Jackson Latimer or the county attorney's office for review.
