The Town of Porter Board of Trustees voted June 5 to raise employee Kendra Moore’s pay by $1.00 per hour and grant her a one-time pay extension of $2,000 after an executive session on employee pay.
Mayor Steve Dickey said, “the employees’ pay was evaluated,” and the board approved the motion by unanimous vote, with the motion seconded by Norma Meyer. The board noted that two employees hired in May, John Liles and Mason Plunk, will be evaluated after they reach 60 days of employment and that no action was taken on their pay at this meeting.
