Committee accepts $25,000 bid for jail booking countertops and approves $9,000 transfer

The Sheriff also moved to authorize a $9,000 transfer from the public safety building reserve to the jail equipment account to cover the booking countertop project; when asked whether that amount included installation the Sheriff confirmed the bids are for fully installed countertops. The Chair then called the vote and the motion carried.
