The approval follows a commission meeting with the sheriff and his administrative assistant to discuss cancelling existing credit-card accounts and replacing them with Arvest accounts.
Commissioner John Shorten moved to approve the letter; Commissioner Joe Wilson seconded. "Commissioner Shorten made a motion to approve a letter presented by Sheriff Mike Buehler to apply for credit cards with Arvest Bank for himself, Chief Deputy Derald Neugebauer and Administrative Assistant Casey Crews," the meeting record states; both commissioners voted yes. The commission did not record further conditions or spending limits in the minutes.
