Board awards $1.87 million resurfacing contract to Milestone Contractors

Allen County Highway Director Bill Hartman told the board the Milestone bid came in about $500,000 under the engineer's estimate. He also said Marion Center Road will receive a six-inch concrete topping from SR-469 to Marion Center Road to handle heavy truck traffic. Commissioner Therese M. Brown moved approval; Commissioner Ronald W. Turpin seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
