Director of Planning John Reiner and operations staff said the goal is to keep lines moving and to make it easier for attendants to spot prohibited materials concealed in oversized trailers. Councilors and staff discussed single‑use exceptions for moving days or storm cleanups; staff said they can issue one‑time trip tickets.
