Board grants waivers, sets conditions on fire safety, stormwater and permit filings

After the applicant described the revised plan the board considered procedural waivers to parts of the submission (Part A MSDS/hazardous-materials, Part B parks/proposed streets, Part C roadway profiles). One member moved to approve the waivers and the board granted them by a 4–2 vote. The chair warned that staff comments in earlier reports pertain to prior plans and that the board should focus on the July 22 revision.
The board read and confirmed a set of conditions to be added to the plan: list of waivers and dates, revise plans to address town-engineer and TRC comments, fire department review of the revised layout, an engineer's letter certifying NFPA Chapter 31 compliance prior to building permit issuance, an NHDOT driveway permit, signatures of property owners on the final plan and recording of notices at the Merrimack County Registry of Deeds. The chair said the engineer letter will inform whether NFPA measures (for example, log-stack limits and separation distances) are necessary; fire-department review remains a condition.
