Road & Bridge Supervisor Josh Hinch presented the county's final bridge inspection report from Cook, Flatt & Strobel Engineers and outlined near‑term field work. Crews recently completed a culvert replacement on Burr Oak Road and are scheduled to move to Hendricks Creek and Gooseberry Road for additional culvert work; Hinch also said he will meet with Perma‑Zyme to plan an application on Wells Creek Road.
Hinch told commissioners "Purple Wave will be out to photograph and list the items on the auction website" after townships declined a county spray truck, and he reported that "3 trucks" were clearing snow off the roads by 7:00 a.m. on the prior Saturday. The commission did not take additional funding action in the Feb. 23 meeting; maintenance scheduling and contractor coordination will continue under the Road & Bridge supervisor.
