Ginger Anthony and Beth Mathes presented the Museum's 2027 appropriation request of $135,961, which the minutes say is a 10.70% increase from the prior year due to including property insurance on the building. The Commissioners approved the county's 2025 inventory during the same segment.
Robin Leonard, Chamber of Commerce Director, requested a $25,000 appropriation for 2027 (an increase of $10,000 from the prior year) and asked to use the Fire Station June 19–24 for the Race Across America event. The Commissioners agreed by consensus to allow the Fire Station use but tabled the Chamber's appropriation request to the next meeting. Leonard also recommended appointing Beth Mathes to the Tourism Board; that recommendation was noted and tabled.
