Human Resource Manager Jennifer Taylor presented employee service awards Feb. 10 recognizing staff milestones across Ellis County. The meeting record lists recipients at 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 years, including Kevin Bieker (40 years, Fire) and Dustin Shubert (30 years, EMS). The presentation named many employees by department and tenure.
The awards covered both county service and Kansas Association of Counties (KAC) milestone recognitions. The commission did not debate the recognitions and moved on to the next agenda items following the presentation.
