The board adopted Resolution 24-25-04 in support of Proposition 2, the state K–12 and local community college modernization, repair and safety bond measure. Staff described Proposition 2 as a $9 billion construction bond that could provide funding for district projects currently waiting for bond sales, including the Costa project and future work for village J once plans are approved.
Trustee Boulay moved and Trustee Clements seconded the resolution; the board approved it on a unanimous roll-call vote. Staff framed the resolution as a formal expression of support to increase the district’s chance of receiving state construction funds for priority projects.
