Ward County OKs list of presiding election judges and orders special election

During the Aug. 11, 2025 session, the Ward County Commissioners' Court unanimously approved a list of presiding and alternate judges for upcoming elections. Commissioner Larry Hanna moved approval; Commissioner Guy Thames seconded the motion and the Court adopted it.
The Court also approved an order calling a special election; the minutes record the motion and unanimous adoption but do not provide the subject or date of that special election in the same motion text. The items were presented and adopted as routine election-administration matters.
