County approves hangar swap and signs payment for airport fuel system upgrades

The Clark County Board of Commissioners approved two airport actions May 20, 2025: a hangar exchange and payment paperwork for a fuel system upgrade. Jed Hansen notified staff of a change in ownership of Hangar 8 and asked to swap one of his other hangars for that space; the board approved exchanging Hangar 5 for Hangar 8 after concluding they are comparable in size.
Separately, the board authorized the chairman to sign Pay Estimate #1 to Sentry LLC in the amount of $13,687.27 and Change Order #1 for the airport fuel system project, which the minutes record as reducing the construction fee by $12,902.45. Commissioner Chris Sass moved the hangar swap and Commissioner Terry Schlagel seconded; Commissioner Francis Hass moved the pay estimate approval with Commissioner Chris Sass seconding both motions were recorded as passing unanimously.
