The Geary County Commission recessed its regular meeting at 12:03 p.m. and reopened at 2:00 p.m. for a budget work session attended by department heads, including Finance Director Tami Robison, County Clerk Courtney Gilbert, Public Works Administrator Jeremie Myers, Emergency Management Director Garry Berges and others.
The group recapped the prior budget session and discussed appropriation possibilities. Staff requested additional clarification on several departmental budgets and scheduled another budget session to continue the work. Chairman Tremont adjourned the work session at 3:47 p.m.
