Commissioners adopt non-residential solar rules and join regional ATV council

On Dec. 9 the board adopted Ordinance 2025-2 for non-residential solar energy systems and Ordinance 2025-3 joining the Northcentral Regional ATV Trail Network Council of Governments. The motions passed unanimously.
The Tioga County Commissioners on Dec. 9 adopted Ordinance 2025-2, establishing regulations for non-residential solar energy systems (as amended), and Ordinance 2025-3, adopting by reference the Articles of Agreement to join the Northcentral Regional ATV Trail Network Council of Governments.
Both motions passed unanimously. The minutes state a complete copy of each ordinance and the Articles of Agreement are attached to the meeting minutes. The board also approved joining the council of governments by reference and approved county participation in the regional ATV trail network.
