Commissioners adopt resolutions to request LSA grants for Nelson Township water upgrades and Wellsboro pool rehab

The Tioga County Board of Commissioners unanimously adopted two resolutions on Nov. 18 to apply for Commonwealth Financing Authority Statewide Local Share Account (LSA) grants. Resolution R-18-25 requests up to $1,000,000 for the Nelson Township Water Resources Upgrades Project; Resolution R-19-25 requests up to $1,000,000 for Phase 2 of the rehabilitation of the Wellsboro Borough Community Pool.
Both resolutions designate Commissioner Marc Rice and Planning Director Rachel Courtney as officials authorized to execute all documents and agreements with the Commonwealth Financing Authority on behalf of the county. The certified resolutions were attested by Chief Clerk Janice Chamberlain and entered into the minutes.
