Tioga County approves $6,100 monthly to support local food banks amid state budget impasse

The board approved a recurring $6,100 per month allocation under Act 13 to support local purchases, with the motion carried unanimously by the three commissioners present. The minutes list the allocation as a board action taken at the Sept. 9 meeting.
