Tioga County approves four-year audit contract with Zelenkofske Axelrod

The Tioga County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously Nov. 18 to approve an agreement with Zelenkofske Axelrod LLC for county audit services for years ending Dec. 31, 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028. The approved fee schedule is $65,535 for the 2025 audit, $67,175 for 2026, $68,850 for 2027 and $70,575 for 2028.
Commissioner Shane Nickerson moved the audit contract and Commissioner Sam VanLoon seconded; the motion carried by a 3-0 vote. At the same time the county’s chief assessor certified the 2026 county/municipal taxable value at $3,839,328,080 in accordance with the Pennsylvania Consolidated Assessment Law, a figure the board entered into the record.
