Parish accepts substantial completion certificates for wastewater and sewer-plant repairs

Parish Engineer Eric Hudson reported completion of Project No. 2024-122 (Winfield Road Lift Station and Sewer Improvements) and recommended accepting the Certificate of Substantial Completion; he noted a developer agreed under a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement to pay $500,000 toward the project and that an invoice has been issued.
Hudson also recommended accepting the Certificate of Substantial Completion for Project No. 2024-121 (repairs to CSR and headworks structures at the sewer treatment plant). He said minor punch-list items remain but acceptance would allow the plant to be returned to service. The jury accepted both certificates and authorized execution of documents.
