Parish Engineer Eric Hudson told jurors Change Order No. 4 for Project No. 2025-117 (Bossier Parish Libraries Administration Building Renovation) increases contract cost by $40,773.48 and adds 45 calendar days to the contract time to address repairs following leaks in the roof and replacement of windows.
Library Board chair and Police Jury President Tom Salzer said the Benton Branch HVAC system is aged and that replacement is more cost-effective than repair, and he reported the estimated move into the new administrative building is planned for July 2026. The jury approved the change order unanimously (motion: Glorioso; second: Cochran), and authorized execution of documents to implement the change order.
