Deputy Justin Jordan named Troup County’s September 'Strongest Link' award recipient

The Troup County Board of Commissioners recognized Deputy Justin Jordan on Oct. 7 as the September 2025 recipient of the Richard English Jr. Strongest Link Award of Excellence. County staff read nomination excerpts describing Jordan’s courtroom professionalism and willingness to serve in juvenile court, patrol and civil service roles.
A presenter told the board, “He is always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty for his team as well as for the community he serves.” The county also acknowledged donations from local businesses that provided items for the recipient’s gift bag. The recognition was informational and will be part of the evening meeting’s formal docket for ratification or entry into the public record.
