Troup County approves design and RFP work to study an animal-control facility

Design consultant comments provided estimated percentages for design fees (roughly 3–5.7 percent of construction in the proposal) and staff estimated initial operations would require three employees plus a contracted attending veterinarian. Commissioners approved moving forward to obtain hard bids and a full cost/benefit analysis before any construction decision.
