Board approves FY27 health and dental contributions, effective Oct. 1, 2026

Deputy County Administrator Patricia D. Davidson presented proposed health and dental insurance contribution rates for the policy year beginning Oct. 1, 2026. The Board approved the rates on a motion by Supervisor Matt J. Dale, seconded by Supervisor Joel L. Hensley; the vote was 5 to 0.
Example plan pricing included in the minutes: Anthem KeyCare Employee Only total premium $850.00 (employee $100.00; employer $750.00). Anthem HDHP Employee Only total premium $670.00 (employee $60.00; employer $610.00). Dental low and high plan monthly payroll deductions were recorded for various tiers in the minutes as well.
