The Iron County Comprehensive Planning/Land & Zoning Committee approved the Dec. 9, 2025 meeting minutes by a 5-0 vote and set its next meeting for 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at the Iron County Courthouse main board room in Hurley.
Zoning Department Administrator Erika Roeder reported the required public notice for a conditional-use hearing was sent on time for publication but the newspaper failed to include it; the committee postponed the hearing to the Feb. 17 meeting. Chairman Patrick Hanson reviewed bills for the department; Roeder explained higher year-end payments and one final contracted payment that will not recur. Chairman Hanson moved to adjourn; the motion was seconded by Rick Boes and the meeting was adjourned.
