Commissioner Doherty moved approval and the board voted unanimously to de‑obligate $60,000 in planning funds and to authorize the MPO chair to sign the amended agreement and permit minor staff revisions as recommended by FDOT and FHWA. "I authorize the MPO chair, board chair to sign the FDOT MPO joint certification statement," a motion read in part during the discussion; board members said the funds will help cover MPO salary and fringe needs until recruitment is complete.
