County selects contractor for restriping and approves additional funds for shop equipment

For internal shop capacity, Little presented bids for a tire changer and wheel balancer capable of servicing up to 5500-series truck tires. The FY26 capital budget budgeted $9,000 for the purchase; the lowest bid was $19,470 from O'Reilly's Automotive. Commissioners voted to add the purchase to the consent agenda and approved an additional allocation of $10,470 from capital funds to cover the full purchase price.
