Commission authorizes county signatory for new DHS transit contractor
Summary

County staff advised commissioners that the Department of Human Services had awarded a new transit contract to a vendor the county must use for DHS-funded transit work. Glenn (staff) explained the change and asked commissioners to authorize either the chairman or the county manager to sign the new agreement. The chair asked for a motion; after a motion and second the board voted to authorize the county signatory.
Staff said the contract took effect Nov. 1, and the county will finalize the signature once the board granted authorization. No public opposition was raised during the special business discussion.
