Napa County IHSS provider hourly wage rises to $20.90

Deputy Director Aaron Cadore told the IHSS Public Authority Advisory Committee that the California minimum wage increase effective Jan. 1, 2026, raised the state rate from $16.50 to $16.90 per hour and, with Napa County's $4.00 per hour differential, increased the IHSS provider hourly wage in Napa County from $20.50 to $20.90.
"As a result, the IHSS Provider hourly wage in Napa County increased from $20.50 to $20.90," Cadore said, and noted that Napa County now ranks fourth highest in the state behind San Luis Obispo, San Mateo and San Francisco counties. The committee did not take any formal votes on wage policy; the briefing was informational and reflected state-level minimum wage changes combined with the county differential.
