The Village of Lindenhurst Board reviewed a staff-recommended list of prior executive-session meeting minutes at a special executive-session meeting on Feb. 9, 2026.
Mayor Dominic Marturano said the purpose of the meeting was to review those minutes. Village Administrator Clay Johnson provided the list of executive-session minutes staff recommended for approval and release to the public. After discussion, the board reached a consensus to move forward with the staff recommendation.
The meeting record shows the board moved out of executive session following a motion later in the meeting; the formal motion to leave executive session was made by Trustee Patty Chybowski and seconded by Trustee Dawn Suchy, and a voice vote was recorded as six ayes and zero nays. The minutes were signed and dated in the official meeting record as noted by Mayor Marturano and Village Clerk Melissa Forsberg.
