The Fayette County Family and Children First Council unanimously accepted the treasurer's report on Feb. 9, 2026, which showed $201,839.71 in the FCFC account and line balances for partner funds. Treasurer Faye Williamson presented the figures and described a completed grant amendment with DCY for state fiscal year 2026 that provides $22,616.27 in operational, staffing support.
"FCFC - $201,839.71," Williamson reported during the meeting, and the council moved to accept the treasurer's report (mover: Katie Fouch; second: Sharon Gibbs). The motion passed unanimously. Meeting minutes also list MSY at $34,371.35, FCSS at $12,628.60 and Strong Families at $27,285.49.
The minutes note that the DCY amendment is completed for SFY26 and that those staffing-support funds "may be available SFY27" for personnel costs. No separate vote on the grant amendment was recorded in the minutes; council members treated the amendment as a completed administrative action for the record.
