Tioga County approves multiple hires, transfers and promotions

The minutes list resignations for Haley Davis (Intake Caseworker, effective 6/11/25), Kayleigh Gail (part‑time Corrections Officer, Tioga County Prison, effective 6/5/25) and Corey Miles (Judicial Line Staff, effective 8/1/25). The board noted the contingent hire of Gunner Pequignot as full‑time Deputy Sheriff at $18.50 per hour, effective 6/30/25 pending testing requirements. The board also approved Martin Risch’s transfer from Assistant District Attorney to Law Clerk at $64,000 per year, the hire of Marena Boyce as Intake Caseworker 1 (Family Services) at $18.30 per hour with benefits, and the hire of Kyle Manogue as Ongoing Caseworker 1 (Family Services) at $18.30 per hour with benefits.
Promotions approved included Whitney DeLong to Caseworker 2 (Intake Unit) at $20.75 per hour and Jena Weiss to Caseworker 2 (Intake Unit) at $20.75 per hour, both effective 6/15/25; Jason Patterson to full‑time Custodian effective 5/19/25; and Kaye Aumick to Administrative Director, Planning, at $57,000 per year. All personnel motions in the minutes passed unanimously (three ayes, no nays).
