According to the clerk's recitation of the motion, the County Engineer stopped installation of the storm sewer after the contractor encountered "major obstructions" and an adjustment to final quantities required the change order. The board approved the change order upon the County Engineer's recommendation and with the Prosecuting Attorney's approval.
Commissioners recorded a unanimous vote: Mark W. Stahl, yes; Donald A. Douglas, yes; Mark E. Coppeler, yes. The board did not discuss specific contractor remediation plans or a revised completion date in the public motion record.
