The Windsor Improvement Committee told the Selectboard it would like to maintain its outside-agency funding at $50,000 for 2026. D. Sweeney introduced WIC representatives and said the committee values continuing support for downtown events and programming.
WIC representatives — B. Flint (of SRDC), M. Welker (WIC treasurer/secretary) and B. Culver (WIC downtown coordinator) — gave an overview of last year’s accomplishments and upcoming projects. D. Sweeney thanked R. White and E. Fortin for assistance with town events and summarized programming needs. “WIC would like to maintain funding of $50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Dollars),” D. Sweeney told the board.
The presentation touched on special events administration and a new social-media format, which T. Marsh and the Budget Committee discussed at length. The WIC request was included in the town’s list of outside-agency appropriations that the Selectboard later approved for inclusion on the Town Meeting warrant.
