District hires Condor Earth for DTSC site investigation at Southfields athletic parcel

Board members approved a contract with Condor Earth to perform a DTSC-required site investigation for the Mountain House High School Southfields project after staff explained the district recently procured about 19 acres south of the campus for athletic fields and other supports. Staff said the initial plan is to install roughly six acres of fields, storage and restroom facilities to support growing high school programs.
"In one of the negotiation victories for the district, we were able to procure 19 acres, just south of the high school campus for athletic fields and future uses," Superintendent Dr. Nicholas said. He added that DTSC review is a routine but required step when building facilities intended for student use. The motion to hire Condor Earth passed unanimously.
