Council approves appointments and calls special elections for tax renewals

At its April 7 meeting the St. Bernard Parish Council approved multiple personnel appointments and adopted a resolution calling special elections to renew special taxes in several parish districts. The council reappointed Daniel Solis to the Fire Protection Districts No. 1–2 Fire Civil Service Board (Resolution SBPC #2624-04-26), and passed resolutions appointing members to the Library Board, the Tourist Commission (Jenifer Heintz Andes), and the Hospital Service District (Cindy Maag).
The council also adopted Resolution SBPC #2625-04-26 calling special elections across the parish and related districts to authorize renewal of special taxes and to make application to the State Bond Commission. All listed resolutions were adopted by unanimous roll-call votes recorded in the minutes.
