Council accepts legal advice in Menesses suit; no action on McInnis claims

Following the closed session, the council voted to accept legal counsel's advice in the Menesses matter on a motion by McCloskey, seconded by Ryan Randall. The vote was recorded as YEAS: Cusimano, Moran, Meyer, Randall, Mones, McCloskey, and Council Chair Fred Everhardt cast his vote as YEA. On the separate item concerning claims asserted in a demand letter to Guy McInnis arising from a Louisiana Legislative Auditor report, the council recorded that no action was taken.
