Vian Board accepts resignation, hires custodial staff and approves adjunct appointments
Summary
After an executive session, the board accepted a resignation from Sevella Mosley, hired Allison Black (High School Custodian) and Ryan Taylor (Athletic Facility Custodian), approved adjunct appointments for Callie Prier, Jordan Taylor and Charles Matt Davis, and approved extra duty assignments and stipends; all actions passed unanimously.
The Vian Board of Education accepted a resignation from Sevella Mosley and, following an executive session under 25 O.S. §307(B)(1) and (B)(3), approved several personnel actions on Aug. 11. The board approved employment of Allison Black as High School Custodian and Ryan Taylor as Athletic Facility Custodian for the 2025–26 school year.
The board also approved adjunct appointments: Callie Prier for U.S. History, Jordan Taylor for Psychology, and Charles Matt Davis for Intermediate Social Studies. Extra duty assignments and stipends for 2025–26 were approved as recorded. Motions and votes are recorded in the minutes; all listed motions passed with votes of Cotner, Simon, Ford, Sanford and Thornton recorded as yes.
