Chamber reports strong car show planning; mayor asks staff to return with funding request

Following the update Mayor Kelly Smith directed staff to place the chamber funding contribution on a future council agenda for formal review and action. The council did not take a funding vote on July 14; the item will return to a future meeting for consideration under an agenda item initiated by staff.
