Salary Board grants $1/hr increase for EMA planner, reclassifies voter registration position and creates intake caseworker

The Tioga County Salary Board approved a $1/hour increase for EMA Planner/Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator Howard Rutledge, reclassified a full-time Voter Registration Clerk to part-time at $16/hr (no benefits), and created an Intake Caseworker 1, First Responder position at $18.30/hr.
Immediately after the commissioners’ meeting the Tioga County Salary Board convened and approved several personnel actions. The board approved a $1.00 per hour increase for Howard Rutledge, EMA Planner/Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator, in recognition of his County Staff Associate Certification from PEMA.
The board also voted to reclassify the full-time Voter Registration Clerk position to part-time at $16.00 per hour (no benefits) and to create a full-time Intake Caseworker 1, First Responder in Family Services at $18.30 per hour with benefits. All Salary Board votes were unanimous.
