Salary Board grants $1/hr increase for EMA planner, reclassifies voter registration position and creates intake caseworker

Immediately after the commissioners’ meeting the Tioga County Salary Board convened and approved several personnel actions. The board approved a $1.00 per hour increase for Howard Rutledge, EMA Planner/Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator, in recognition of his County Staff Associate Certification from PEMA.
The board also voted to reclassify the full-time Voter Registration Clerk position to part-time at $16.00 per hour (no benefits) and to create a full-time Intake Caseworker 1, First Responder in Family Services at $18.30 per hour with benefits. All Salary Board votes were unanimous.
