Commissioners allocate $25,000 to Blossburg ambulance, approve $2,500 fair allocation and Dickens event use

The Tioga County Board on Aug. 12 approved $25,000 from Act 13 funds to the Blossburg Volunteer Ambulance Association to assist in replacing two stretchers. Commissioners also approved a $2,500 budget allocation for the 2025 Tioga County Fair.
Additionally, the board approved the use of the courthouse parking lot and the Green for the Dickens of a Christmas event on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025. All funding and event-use motions were adopted unanimously, and the minutes list Act 13 where applicable.
