Commissioners ratify AFSCME tentative agreement, approve legal service renewal and other contracts
Summary

At the Aug. 12 meeting the commissioners unanimously ratified the tentative collective bargaining agreement between Tioga County and AFSCME Council 13 covering the county prison corrections officers bargaining unit.
The board also approved a contract renewal with Richard McCoy for Title IV-D legal services in Domestic Relations (term 10/1/25–9/30/30) at $110 per hour, and approved other professional services such as a $2,000 exterior commercial appraisal proposal from Dean Appraisal Service and a $12,000 annual dam inspection proposal from Larson Design Group (Landfill Escrow Account). All actions were recorded as motions carried by unanimous vote.
