Salary Board approves $1/hour increase for Field Assessor and creates three new positions

At the conclusion of the commissioners’ meeting the Salary Board convened and approved a $1.00/hour increase for Tanner Swan, Field Assessor in the Assessment Office, effective July 14, 2025, in recognition of his CPE certification. The board also voted to create three new positions: a Multi‑Disciplinary Investigative Team (MDIT) Coordinator in the District Attorney’s Office at $48,464/year with benefits; a Staff Relations Coordinator in the Department of Human Services at $48,464/year with benefits; and a Specialized Services Youth Program Manager in DHS at $50,624/year with benefits. All motions passed unanimously by a four‑member Salary Board (including Kera Hackett).
The minutes identify effective dates where applicable and record the Salary Board as convened at 10:52 a.m. on July 8; the items will proceed through HR and payroll processing.
